Veterans Day – Upworthy.com for Operation Horse
November 11th, 2015
On Veterans Day we honor those who have served. This year we were blessed to have reporter Jess Blank from Upworthy contact us about Operation Horse (PTSD Veterans Programming). We were really blessed to have support from US Marine Michael Otto Steiger and US Army Calvary Scout Andrew Haines join us to voice their views about Operation Horse and the HORSES at Spring Reins of Life.
Since 1999 there have been over 5,000 deaths on the battlefields, however also since 1999 there have been over 128,000 suicides after coming home.
Our mission with Operation Horse is to become part of the solution in New Jersey. NJ had a high veterans population and SRoL is the first EAGALA Model program to earn the specialized “Military Services Provider Certification” (2014) and we utilize this with 3 different PTSD units at Lyons VA Hospital.
Demand is high, interest even higher, funding must keep up. Please consider a tax deductible donation today. Contact us at info@springreinsoflife.org or Give $10.00 and pass it on at Fundraise.com Operation Horse.
